Step Up For Ostomy 2025 – Yarmouth

The SW Nova Scotia Ostomy Peer Support Group invites you to Step Up For Ostomy — a national awareness and fundraising event supporting Canadians living with an ostomy. Join us for a meaningful, community-focused day where you can learn, connect, and help raise awareness for people living with an ostomy across Canada.

This event brings people together to reduce stigma, share stories, and support education and advocacy. Whether you have an ostomy, support someone who does, or simply want to help build a more compassionate and informed community, your presence matters.

Event highlights:

• Ostomy Awareness Day activities and conversations
• Information booth with resources and peer support
• Celebration cake and social time
• Silent auction and donation jar in support of programs
• Brochures and take-home materials for you and your family
