Calgary Awareness Walk – Step Up For Ostomy 2025
Calgary Ostomy invites you to Step Up For Ostomy — a national awareness and fundraising event supporting Canadians living with an ostomy. Join us for a meaningful and family-friendly event featuring a community walk at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. (Note: We will not be hosting an ostomy expo or BBQ this year.)
This event brings people together to reduce stigma, share stories, and raise vital funds for education, advocacy, and support. Whether you have an ostomy, know someone who does, or simply care about creating a more compassionate and informed community — your presence makes a difference.
Highlights include:
- Awareness walk suitable for all ages
- Free Step Up For Ostomy 2025 t-shirts (while supplies last)
- Bottled water & chips
- 50/50 Raffle (purchase in advance online – to be announced at event)
Awareness Walk:
Arrive between 1:00 and 2:00 pm at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. Pick up your t-shirt, sign a waiver (if you did not register online), and take a walk around the park with local ostomates. Invite your friends and family to join your team!
